How to Clean Kitchen Backsplash
A Homemade Cleaning Solution
At the end of every night, you clean your kitchen counters and put away the dishes. But for some reason, your kitchen still seems less than clean. Have you taken a close look at your kitchen backsplash recently? It’s important to show this area some TCL, too. Here’s how you can do that.
How to Clean Kitchen Backsplash
You don’t need to go to the store and find a fancy product to make your backsplash like-new. You likely have all the tools you need right at home! Here’s what you’ll need:
- Baking soda
- Dish soap
- Water
- Spray bottle
- Cleaning rag
- Toothbrush
Step 1: Make a mixture of 1/4 cup baking soda, 2 tablespoons dish soap, and 2 cups of water. Transfer this solution into a spray bottle.
Step 2: Spray your entire backsplash. Wipe down with a damp towel.
Step 3: Use the toothbrush to scrub the oil and debris from the grout.
Step 4: Wipe down the backsplash with a clean, damp cloth. Then dry it with another cloth to prevent water spots from forming during drying.
