Lura Bitting is a proud Military family member, as her father and grandfather both served in the US Army. So she was always eager to discuss JDog’s mission with one of her salon clients—CEO Jerry Flanagan. Now Lura is a proud owner of multiple JDog Carpet Cleaning and Floor Care franchises, including the one in Kennett Square, PA.

Over the years, Lura and Jerry often talked about growing JDog Brands across the country. Jerry even hired Lura’s son to work on one of the JDog Junk Removal and Hauling trucks. Lura always wanted to own her own business. So when JDog Carpet Cleaning was opening a location in Chester County, she was one of the first people Jerry approached about the opportunity.

Situated in the heart of Brandywine Valley, Kennett Square is known as the Mushroom Capital of the World. The fertile farms and charming borough attracts locals and visitors to shop and dine in this unique Philadelphia suburb.
